Exercise with your baby as partner

The bonding that occurs during these periods are not to be taken for granted. Take your baby on a stroller and stroll for a couple of blocks from your home to lose weight after pregnancy. You can take along baby foods and bottle of water for you to drink after the whole exercise has been concluded. If you can't find a gym for yourself then the other alternative to lose weight after pregnancy is to use your personal home and stick to your program from the start. Decide if you are going to be exercising for 15 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours everyday and stick to it. It is also desirable if you stick to a particular time everyday for your workout. Never make excuses, even if it is just 15 minutes everyday you are better off than doing nothing. If the baby does not allow too much time  for the exercise, target the baby's nap time and exploit it, you may not be able to walk on water or turn water to wine but you can sure make time out of no time

Get enough sleep

Studies have shown that new mother rarely get enough sleep. This can lead to psychological and emotional stress,you don't need this as your focus is to lose weight after pregnancy.Find a way to get at least 8 hours sleep a day. You can get your spouse or relative or the care-giver to help you watch the baby while you replenish the energy that you have lost all through the day.If you get distracted easily by light you can cover your eyes with blind fold or if it is hearing distraction you can use ear plugs. If you keep doing this you will be able to live a normal life like most people,just don't allow the stress of taking care of  the baby to get to you

Eat good and nutritious food

The last point to note is to eat good food and drink plenty of water.Eat nutritious food as against carbohydrate or fatty food. Calculate your calorie requirement everyday and make sure you lose more calories everyday than you take. The key is to take small meals frequently and avoid large intake of food at once ( make sure you do not starve yourself for hours so that you will need to take large bowl of food to satisfy your hunger) Drink plenty of water, water will flush out any poisonous materials in your system and  also aid digestion.


Take note that your calorie intake will be different if you breast feed your baby. Babies need nutrients from your body, allocate the baby's share of those nutrients into the food you take everyday and avoid eating junk foods altogether no matter what is written on it.Make sure you cook fresh food everyday
